Getting There

There are two ways to get to Guernsey - by air and by sea.

Travellers opting to come by air can use Guernsey Airport, which is three miles south west of St Peter Port. The airport opened in 1939 and is the island’s only airport. A new terminal building was opened in 2004 which allows it to handle up to 1.25 million passengers a year.

If choosing to come by sea, you will find that ferry services operate from Poole (2hr 30), Portsmouth (7 hours) and Weymouth (2hr 10). The main operator for these services in Condor Ferries.
